About CrossFit Aoyama
CrossFit Aoyama opened in 2022 and has been an active part of Tokyo's CrossFit community ever since.
⸻
Some things that make us a bit different:
・Owned and led by a medical doctor. Our owner, Dr. Junya Yabuno, is an occupational physician and sports medicine doctor.
・Designated Exercise Therapy Facility. We are officially certified by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as an exercise therapy facility, which is a rare designation for a CrossFit box.
・Strong link to medical care. We work closely with Stay Fit Clinic, a clinic specializing in occupational health and mental health, located right next to our box.
・English-friendly coaching. Our owner speaks English fluently, and we regularly welcome international athletes.
・Diverse community. Our members include Japanese professionals, expats, executives, beginners, and experienced athletes — about 40% of our members are women.
